Both slay. The whole old school Sedish thing is a lot broader than i originally imagined. Have you heard of Cemetary? Their debut album is grade A Swedish death before they went all katatonia and shit.

This album is a definate classic among Death Metal album, even though Dismember might fall slightly into the Black Metal category. Nice raw sound with classic leads.

Finally got around to this. I'm getting the same feeling that I got when I first heard Left Hand Path, except this destroys Left Hand Path in every way.

I would say Clandestine and this are almost equally good but yeah both of them are way better than Left Hand Path and goddamn it, the mods removed the tampon picture i put up.

Yeah, I fucking love Dismember. You should check out Death Metal too, if you haven't. I love both Entombed and Dismember equally, but the longevity of Dismember stuff I like better. And I saw you mention Grave, yeah they are awesome. Soulless is an awesome record by them as well.

Soulless isn't really liked on the site, which is a shame cause it rules hard, same with Death Metal

I have As Rapture Comes from Grave. Wasn't too impressed by that album but I'll be getting Into the Grave tonight I think.

Have you guys heard Trap Them? It is not old school swedish death metal, but the guitar tone is very similar to old entombed and dismember. And the music is really aggressive.
