Bloc Party deserve all the praise they get. Their drummer is pretty unique, a definite stand out for the band.
I would reccomend this album to all.
Great review

I looooove the cover art. a lot. anyways I also love the track she's hearing voices. But I really like the band a lot, as soon as I saw the music video of banquet I realized they really had something going on for them so I bought the album

I know a great Asian drummer and he's in a punk band.

Just though I'd put that out there.

my version has both two more years and little thoughts, two great songs that should be on every album

Wow, a classic?

Sometimes tihs album is pretty decent for a spin, but I don't really hear anything that really keeps me interested, besides maybe the singing.

A great album, one of the few mainstream british bands doing something decent and half way original.Positive tension is my fave.

The worst lead singer ever. I can't listen to them because of him.

The rest of the band is alright though.

i was really expecting the album to be a lot more..... hyperactive. i was expecting at least half the album to sound as active as Helicopter. Overall, the album does sound pretty good, with a few catchy riffs and "ways he sings".

Bloc Party are the kings of mod rock (britpop). I can't wait till the next album, "A weekend in the city" comes out. Hopefully it has a song as amazing as "Tulips" or "This Modern Love". I did an acoustic cover of the latter, and it turned out great (meaning it got me laid, lol)

Good album. I can stick it on at any time and just chill out.

Not a duff track on there to be honest.

Highlight for me is "This Modern Love" which is a fantastic song. Love the simple yet catchy style they pull off.

I really like the vocals too.
