It's still pretty hard to digest for me as he was such an integral part of my musical development and youth. I thank him for all the awesome and badass music he gave us and will gladly remember him for what he was: a very capable musician and vocalist with heart and soul.

I had only heard Core and his Velvet Revolver stuff when he passed, none of which had spoken that much to me even though it was pretty decent, but it still came across as a big shock for me. For the rest of 2015 i decided to check stp and ended up spinning Purple and Tiny Music endlessly. Only then did i understand Scott was actually an immensely talented artist when he was at his best and i became an immediate fan. It is still profoundly sad to think of his death.
