As a fan of their heavier stuff: this album kicks ass. Delieverence and BtPiSiO are great songs, and the others are all worth a listen too.

Awesome album but unfortunately nothing can come even close to Deliverance...which, of course, is really tough because IMO Deliverance is one of the best metal songs ever, maybe THE best.

This is Opeth's worst album tied with MAYH... and if you have a song like Deliverance on it, and this is your worst record... you're a killer band.
I love the title track.

The title track is honestly one of my least favorite here, I don't know why. By the Pain I see in Others is my current fav, followed by wreath, then master's aprenitces, then delieverance, then a fair judgement. Great album anyway.

Yeah I'd say this and MAYH are their worst two albums, although still extremely good. I adore Masters Apprentices and Wreath.

I think this and damnation are their two worst actually, MAYH is their third worst imo.
Each of their albums are amazing thogh, but i've still yet to get orchid. FYE never has it :angry:

Damnation and MAYH are incredible albums IMO...
MAYH has some amazing songs on it.
Orchid is also a brilliant album - Mikael's vocals are much more raspy...but he still sounds so awesome.

I found Orchid at Best Buy. I personally dislike Orchid and Damnation the most, followed by this. I don't think they're bad, but I prefer Blackwater Park and Still Life to them.

I have yet to not find any album I was looking for at FYE. That's where I surprised the cashier with all eight of Opeth's albums at the same time.
