disagree with this review almost in its entirity.
only one or two songs are below par, the others containing some massive riffs and lyrics.
to me oasis albums are split directly in two, with the first three being savage and with the others its clear the brothers have calmed down a lot and i dont like them in the same why i like the first three.
this was done in 1997 in a basement full of cocaine and to me 100% belongs in the first category.

This is an album that comes out with all guns blazing and well and truly has it.
For something that is so overblown, overlong and unnecessary it is also unbelievably no nonsense. A blinder.

But I wish Noel had sung more on it, it would've been even better without Liam's nasal vocals on it.

Yeah Shoulder was the beginning of the end for Liam's vocals, they were still good, but not up to everything else up until that point. Everything prior to it was perfection.
I even clarified my 5 on this at the top of the page, I have no shame in giving it a 5 either. I love it.
