Ya I think its better than lateralus by a bit

This album is brilliant, no doubt. I prefere laterlus (as it is my favourite album ever), but this comes very close right behind it. All the songs on it are amazing.

The production is shoddy, but the songwriting is great. Better than Lateralus, i think.

Damn! I never voted AND my opinions of Push!t have changed. That's now one of my favorite songs on there.
This is either my favorite or second favorite album ever because the texture of this album is so beautiful and haunting. The atomosphere, flawless vocals, and great musicianship of Tool in this album just makes the fanboy in me become evident. Every song on there is great. It's certainly the best Tool album.

Too bad the filler killed the album (no it was not good or necessary, shut up).

It really IS subjective about the filler. However, I know I'm not trying to defend Tool when I say that the seque Intermission into Jimmy is needed. Otherwise, I think, Jimmy is a typical song. Same goes for Useful Idiot into 46 & 2.

A Mighty Fine Album.. n nothing more to say bout it

One of the greatest albums I have ever heard! It should be number 1 on the all time list and not number 10.

That was a fanboy vote right there. But hey...my most played album SHOULD be considered a classic.
(only other classics are Mezzanine and OK COmputer for me)

Third Eye is such a great song. It builds up and then just explodes .

I must say, Stinkfist and Eulogy are two of the best Tool songs ever made.

^^Disagree. Stinkfist is too much of a standard hard rock song. Eulogy is great, though.

The reason I like Stinkfist so much is because of Maynard's vocals. I think that song is his best performance to date.

The vocals are too muffled throughout most of the song. It's like Filter.
|
| |
I always think of Stinkfist as being a classic gateway song for new listeners of the band. It's good, but doesn't sound much like the rest of the album. Songs like Eulogy are far more representative of the album as a whole.
