The debut EP from San Diego's In Every Breath, is a promising 6 track release which bodes well for the quartet's future. Taking in elements from many genres, the sound is best described as atmospheric alt-rock with hints of post-hardcore & alt-metal. While Brandon Conetta's vocals will be an acquired taste for many, every song is accessible & sufficient variety exists. 'Distrust' just lacks those hooks which would make the EP more memorable & demand repeated listening ('Hold' comes closest). Otherwise, it's a really solid debut with strong musicianship across the board. Recommended Tracks: Hold, Stigma & Last Endeavor.

Take it as I like it a fair but, but it could have been a really special debut if it was just a bit more memorable.
Yeah, I'm letting their newie sink in more as I'm finding it a little less memorable. Probably will be a 3.
All solid stuff for what is practically an unknown band though. Chalk up another one for Trey.
