Very haunting and still decent, I can't remember a single track from here except for Cold Seed, but they all tie together quite alright.

Some seriously impressive songs here. A few moments remind me of David Sylvian's earlier solo material. Took me way too long to check this album in full.

I'll be honest I'm kinda burned of heavy music right now after 1 intense month of thrash obsession so this hits just right atm. might be in the mood for some dead can dance after this aswell.

Bump. This album is amazingly diverse and intresting. Lack of clear higlights hurts it compared to wildhoney but ofc this one should be enjoyed as whole like its predecessor so it's not so big of a problem.

fr way more diverse than i remembered
people like to mention it and wildhoney in the same breath but this takes way more chances on a few different tracks

Listened to it the first time, and it is really good. What makes it special is that darkness brooding under the surface as mentioned in the review, amazing!!
I wonder if they were inspired by Love's 'Forever changes' as that album is so masterful of creating seemingly nice and beautiful music but with a very subtle but significant dark edge under the surface...

gonna need someone to explain the appeal of this record because to me it doesn't come anywhere close to Wildhoney, only thing that does it Clouds and that's pushing it

This one tops Wildhoney for me by a fair amount tbh. Love both but the atmosphere here takes it over the top for me. Just more of a personal preference I guess lol.
