That would be "spell RIGHT". And actually "spell CORRECTLY".
As much as non-fans make ICP and juggalos out to be stupid, they're not much smarter than they claim we are.

Honestly, who sits down and listens to ICP and they are like...'wow this music really relates to me and my ideas with life and not only that, stellar music and lyrics!'
Their music is basically made for white-trash middle schoolers who come from broken homes and think cursing is hilarious when repeated throughout every song. This Message Edited On 02.19.08

I think that comment proves my statement. I try to not to read into irrelevant statements made by ICP-listening pseudo intellectuals too much for fear that my IQ may drop.

You're not really looking into the whole idea. The Joker's Cards are morality tales to encourage people to change their ways. The Carnival is God. At the end of your life you go to Shangri-La or Hell's Pit.
IsIt, your last comment is kind of offensive. Not everybody has a perfect life. Not everybody were brought up in a perfect background. To cement everybody who can relate to ICP's metaphor for the ghetto (or, the Carnival of Carnage) as "white trash" is really not open minded.
Although ICP is crude in spots, they really aren't anymore crude than a lot of things their critics tend to be into. I've also noticed a lot of people who hate ICP tend to not listen to hip-hop. That might have something to do with it for certain people. Not everyone, of course, but those who have commented on this review, for instance.

You misunderstood me. I said it's made for those people, not that everyone who listens to it, is it.
But this will be the last thing I say:

Stop saying "large majority" as if it were true that everybody hates ICP.
|

I for one think how ICP relates life to a carnival is ingenious. I mean it's so insightful, it takes true intellect to come up with that.
Oh a large majority of intelligent people hate ICP.This Message Edited On 02.19.08

Stop saying "large majority" as if it were true that everybody hates ICP. What makes you think that "majority" and "everybody" are the same thing?

[Bill Hicks]:
The world is like a ride in an amusement park and when you choose to go on it you think it's real because that's how powerful our minds are. And the ride goes up and down and around and around and it has thrills and chills and it's very brightly coloured and it's very loud. And it's fun - for a while. Some people have been on the ride for a long time, and they begin to question; is this real? Or is this just a ride? And other people have remembered, and they come back to us, and they say, "Hey, don't worry, don't be afraid, ever, because... this is just a ride."

i don't know how to quote.

This is quite possibly the worst review I've read on Sputnik. Holy fuck.
So, I gotta be honest though, ICP's music (excpet the Tempest) is really bad. BUT, I was watching this thingie on the band and Violent J was just talking about some of the artists under his label and the one thing that I thought was kinda cool, was that one of his artists sold 20000 records and finally bought a house after living in a trailer for his whole life. Haha, I don't know what that had to do with anything but I just wanted to sound all nostalgic and stuff :chug:

| |
I never said one couldn't relate life to a carnival and do a good job with it but it's not that ingenious or profound. However ICP do not do a good job.
|
| |
ICP don't really do a good job doing.....anything. Nah, i just found it funny that someone said the whole 'amusement park = life' thing cause it reminded me of the Bill Hicks quote is all.
dude please just stop. the last thing anyone needs is discussion about ICP that is actually serious.
Someone asking him to justify giving this crap a 1 makes me lose faith in the human race.
You completely lost the point! A review is supposed to be objective and he failed miserably at that. When you back up your 1 rating with a shit review, what the hell does that say?

Explode in laughter maybe.
In all seriousness, this review isn't good. I positive voted because I actually completely agree with everything in it, especially the last part. The entire thing made me laugh.
Actually
Overall tho it can kinda sound cool but other than that the music itself isn't realy that good.
I disagree with this. It never sounds cool.
This however:
Overall The Amazing Jeckel Brothrs is abysmal and talentless pice of trash that is unforgiveable and should be thrown into some random fire somewhere in this world. is this single most brilliant thing ever said on the siteThis Message Edited On 02.19.08
