No way, dude. On Letting Go is good, but pretty much everything else he's done can go to hell.

Saosin sucked with him in it.

Alexisonfire haven't released a bad album yet.

nah

The only Saosin I've ever enjoyed is translating the name.

And Alexisonfire is hit and miss tbh.

He was horrible on Translating the Name, didn't get into it at all.

Alexis are fantastic, Crisis in particular.

He's improved drastically over the years, man. Back in the Translating days, he was this high-pitched whiny squealer who was up to his eyeballs on drugs. These days he's much, much better- On Letting Go is easily the best thing he's done with his life.

I think I agree with the review, although I enjoy the album alot. To me, it's like they were released in the wrong order. If this came out first, then Sometimes, it'd seem a progression; but how it is, I get confused. Good on him for putting out music thats 10x better than 90% of the industry at the moment [woot maths], but I think patience would've been a good ingredient to add to making this album.

Personal opinion on production qualities. Both albums have equal strengths in songwriting.

I cannot believe that people are saying Dallas cannot sing well live. I saw City and Colour a few weeks ago, and it was the best performance I have seen, other than Death Cab for Cutie who played on the same show.

I pretty much agree with Coc on this album and Dallas Green. However, I do like Death Cab, so if Dallas went with them I just might go for them.

Love this album to death, reminds me of the 40 hour greyhound trips I listened to it on whilst visiting Mexico for the first time... unique, at least.
