Magma was great, I've never actually heard this.

Think terra incognita is actually my favourite of theirs, will I like this?

Okay well wisdom comes rips

Wish they retained some of that DM influence in their current stuff

this and terra incognita are fairly similar to the best of my recollection, at least more similar than the later stuff is to either of them

although this is a lot tighter/more concise

and yet some of the cuts on terra are way more memorable than anything on here

idk... its been a few years though

Band hasn't been doing well since Flesh, to be honest. Mars to Sirius is their best by a landslide.

I think Mars and Flesh contain their best songs, but overall there's just too much filler. Not even filler songs, but filler riffs. Where Dragons Dwell starts off with two of the most titanic riffs in history then the second half of the song just drags on to oblivion. It's just a mood killer. Terra songs are a lot tighter but there are a few too many; I think I may enjoy the concise run time on this.

Leave atmospheric riffing to black and post-metal where they belong
