TJR isn't bad in any way of course, I just happen to like the songwriting and musicianship much more here than on TJR. The drumming is also so much better. Maybe I exaggerated with the SO though lol

this is definitely better than lunar strain, biosphere is one of their best songs but TJR was def their highest point

Subterranean feels more consistent as a whole to me. Stand Ablaze and Biosphere is probably my favorite songs by them
