this album is ok, it sounds alot like acacia strain to me, like almost exactly like AS until the vocals start.

Yeah the review is biased, but I like this band. Just fun to listen to.

Review is pretty bad. I've heard a couple of songs from this band. They were ok, but definitely not "the most brutal release of the 21st century." Listen to some brutal death metal for brutal releases.

Sidenote: I think For the Fallen Dreams, Recon, and Emmure all join forces when they write lyrically. And even musically in some senses. I respect them all, but shit...lyrically they all get repetitive. But I won't deny the fact that some of their breakdowns (simplistic as they may be) make me want to raaaaaaaaaaage.

Also I would say the entire album(s) are straight up 2 step hardcore (plus some righteous breakdowns haha). But who really gives a shit about genres haha.This Message Edited On 07.17.08

They don't have to be prodigal virtuosos to write music that's fun to listen to. Granted, it's definitely not the must brutal, by a long shot, but it's a fine soundtrack to a good old fashioned Protoss beatdown.

Seriously, play Starcraft to deathcore.

undoubtedly this is the only release from them that could/will ever warrant respect.. the lyrical content is pretty awful though
