This has to be my favorite Hammock album. Maybe because it was the first album I heard from them, and post-rock was making a huge impact on my life at that time(for the first time), but all of their albums are insanely good. Some of the best music to listen to while trying to write your own music, have good conversation, think about the universe, your role in life, and pretty much good for anything you do.

Minus.

I can't help but think that this is the weakest thing they have to offer. Has some of the best tracks they've ever recorded, but listening from start to finish isn't as enjoyable / breathtaking as their other albums

This is definitely my favorite album of this particular style. Excellent stuff. Their newest one is on par, too.

@sixdegrees, I own all their albums and listened to them all several times, so I'd like to at least think I know what I'm saying when I say that haha. Regardless, this is a solid 4 for me. Kenotic and Chasing After Shadows... are practically perfection in my eyes

I'd say that this and Departure Songs are the best, but those are good too.

Ok 1) Absolutely, though this is still a 4.5 because of I Can See You and Floating Away In Every Direction

2) That is exactly how I listen to Departure Songs! 5 times have I listened all the way through and every single time was in a car at night. We might be the same person?
