Really? I thought i was a fairly good consensus agreement on this cd's clean vocals are better than SAS.

SAS had way better clean singing imo...their new singer/bassist is constantly off-key...

Agreed. Gilbert's clean vocals cannot hope to match Clint's (and they're also not fit for this type of music). I was highly disappointed when I found out Clint left the band, he was my favorite member. This Message Edited On 11.02.07

I can't really find a point where the clean vocals are particularly bad. Can someone point it out for me please?

I thought they were bearable, if not as good as Clint's.

The title track is one instance of annoying vocals.

Except that Blackened is one of the greatest metal songs ever written. :thumb:

Every song on MoP and RtL are better than Blackened IMO. Still, pretty darn good song.

This cd is better than their others imo. I like the 'thrashier' sound theyve developed. Nothing really innovative, but there are some cool riffs. Im digging Within Destruction the most. Its pretty bitchin'.

Was I talking to you Josh D? (in a snoby, bitchy, little girl voice)

Yes, you should care (I was kidding by the ways).

Anyways, this album blows, it made me stop listening to alot of my metalcore albums. Boring, predictable, are all adjectives that come to mind!

I've been on a permanent vacation from metalcore for a few months now.

This is they're best effort to date, truely a classic. Having Adam D produce it didn't hurt.

It's their best effort, but it's definitely not a classic.

I enjoyed this a lot, but definitely not a 5 for me.

I wouldn't really say that. This album seems to have a bit more diversity than SAS, and I really dig the production on here.

A lot of things blow this away.
