Anthony is just so much more frantic and his delivery is so much angrier than Nate's. Nate's vocals would've been passable if the rest of the album wasn't so blandtacular, because his vocals really aren't bad, they're just generic as hell.

yeah i guess i see what you're saying, but i agree in the fact that anthony as a live singer was much better than nate but i guess im just more of a fan of his style of delivery

Awesome album, I'm going to have to say its my favorite TTEOTD album.

Best Songs: As good as Deas, Failure in the Flesh, To the Ruins.

The vocalist is definitely much better, he suits the music more.

He reminds me of the d00d in The Red Chord..

The distorted vocals were terrible. This Message Edited On 07.16.08

Nope. I miss having Bloodlust, such a kickass album, old vocalist was much, better and suited for the music. His highs were great.

I thought Bloodlust was kind of terrible too but certainly better than this. Their EPs with Anthony Gunnells are elite though.

This album doesn't really have all that much wrong with it, I just think that it's really forgettable.

The biggest problem (well, aside from the shitty vocals) I see with this album is that it came after Bloodlust, the split and EP. Much like ASP, following up those wonderful releases makes Malice look pretty bad when compared.

The first songs I heard from TTOETD were from this album, and that is what sparked my interest in them. Then hearing their older work, just made me lose interest in Malice. It's ok, but just lacking what made the previous releases so good, lol.

And yeah, Failure in the Flesh is a pretty cool song, and from all the newer songs I've heard from them (just a handful), it's the best. This Message Edited On 07.30.08

i wish i could change my rating. this album has grown on my considerably since i first rated it.

i find myself liking both nate and anthony's vocals.

agree about the drummer though, so much talent, yet so much repetition.
