turn on your love light is seriously one of the most fun things ever recorded goddddd
why did this band stop doing spacey psych rock shit they were so good in the 60s
|
| |
Nice to see the Dead getting a bit more attention around here lately.
|
| |
been listening to these guys again, so good
|
| |
Yeah, probably my most-played band over the past couple months, great summer music.

look like some of their more simple folky stuff is good and catchy but all their 60s material is so much better like i don't even feel the need to explore most of that stuff cause this seems so much more engaging
|
| |
I actually disagree. Their 60s stuff is great in my book, but Workingman's Dead and American Beauty are killer. All of their stuff is highly enjoyable though.

my fav is anthem of the sun, but i dig most of the 70s dead
|
| |
Fair enough, Aoxomoxoa has been my go-to lately.

I gave Workingmen and American Beauty 4, excellent albums, but I never got why people saw these guys as a classic or essential band, now I know what they meant
