Sorry to stir things up, I was simply kidding. I dont really give a **** what you believe in, good music is undeniable whether you are Christian or a Satanist. My bad, it is hard for me to detect jokes on the internets =pThis Message Edited On 06.25.07

No one plays guitar like ABR....except ABR. Many people say they are a generic metalcore band but id like to argue that no one approaches riffing exactly the same way they do, they have found there own metalcore voice. However their songs tend to blend together and some breakdowns have been recycled from thrill seeker. Id like to fastforward in time and hear one more release from these guys. I cant imagine them having enough ideas to support another album without expanding or reinventing themselves in some way.

I would love to beat the shit out of Luke Perry!

You know, despite the vigor that maintains throughout the album, it just is a bit repetitive. After several tracks, my ears seriously crave silence. ..Okay maybe not silence, but at least something softer, slower, different. Overall, though, it's worth a spin.

I can admit they're fairly mediocre, but for some reason one the few all-screaming metal bands I enjoy. Only thing is, it sounds to me like a LOT of the riffs are just palm-muted open chugging. (Hopefully I'm wrong, cause I haven't learned to play guitar by ear perfectly)This Message Edited On 07.12.07

dude this shit is bananas and thats all that i can say. i've never been so addicted to heavy music. like, the rhythms catch a hold of your heart. like i cant listen to this without tapping my foot. song after song has interesting beats. the twin guitar shit at the end of composure is definitely the fucking highlight. eleventh hour, blinding light, and truth of a liar are all hella sick too. catchy as hell, ive never had a hardcore band get stuck in my head like these guys. they are catchier than the spice girls at the peak of their game.

this album is the only one other than i think it was porcupine tree's in absentia album to give me chills in specific points i was so mesmerized. at one point i believe it was the opening scream of truth of a liar. (epic, especially live.) and another point was the an american dream through the end of redemption, just because both of those songs are just sooooo powerful. This Message Edited On 11.12.07

These guys have potential to be great, but they ruin it with no diverisity or originality. While the guitarists' riffs are enjoyable, their not enough to keep me listening to August burns red. If I want Fast, technical mind-blowing riffing. I'll listen to Necrophagist
