I think all those roots will be back on the next album.

I highly doubt that Cradle of Filth will ever go back to their old sound.

I still think its possible on the next album. They've gone back to their vampyric lyrical themes and everything, plus Dani's voice is back. If they dont go back with this album I doubt they ever will.

I don't think any Cradle of Filth album deserves a 5, but this is still their best effort.

I have three of their albums rated 5 lol. This is probably their second best for me atm. Its always changing, but Dusk will always be the best. This and Dusk are two of the best symphonic black metal albums out there though.

Mine is Tearing the Veil from Grace. I dont think that song gets enough credit. I think its one of their best ever and its hardly ever mentioned.

That one seems so middle-of-the-road for me, at least when this album is concerned.

I mean seriously dude, Lord Abortion??? You can't beat that!

You really cant beat any of the songs on this album. Even both of the instrumentals are top notch.

Cthulhu Dawn is one of my all time favorite metal songs. Dunno why.

this was my first introduction to black metal. At the time I had never heard of a genre of music that was almost entirely satanic. The only band I knew that was satanic was deicide and I was positively horrified of them lol.

reluctantly I downloaded this as it was said to be their best and I was so shocked that I could not stop listening.

now I know this is hardly the most satanic metal out there, but at the time it was.

They're not satanic at all, actually. Motley Crue was more Satanic than these guys ;)

Right, and "Skater Boi" was pretty punk for Avril Lavigne, but what does that really mean?

Cradle aren't a satanic band. They use the imagery in their lyrics as a means to an end. It's just another extention of their lyrics. They speak a lot about vampires too, but that doesn't actually make them vampires ;)
