glad this got bumped but sad to see it was underwhelming. it is amazing live, i've seen them a few times over the years (although only simon posford, never with raja). fun times
i will admit i don't listen to Shpongle as much as i used to back in the day but this shit is still classic status for me

I've checked TOTI and some of IMFS and liked them both substantially more, if that's any consolation. They have a lot of good ideas but almost all their songs go on too long and there's just a bit too much corny "duuuude have you ever smoked DMT" type shit for my liking.

check out Nothing Lasts next then! but yeah the shamanism / dmt vibes are definitely a big part but it's never come off corny to me. Shpong is also some of the absolute best tunes to play when you're under the psychedelic influence, so it works out i guess
edit: i'm also a dirty jam band fan so take that for what you will lol
