I don't think you're dumb, because you're explaining your points in a civilized manner, but your points are kind of weak.

Just because a band is original it doesn't really justify a rating of 3. I mean, if a band releases an album of themselves farting into a microphone, that's original, but that doesn't justify a 3 rating.

umm i really dont see how what genre a band is really matters? anyhow, i find this album to not be that bad. I generally listen to "hippie" or "chill" music as some say, but i find these guys to be pretty catchy and knowing how to sing (AHH i said he was a good singer, watch out!) but whatev, thats just me

Craig Owens being a good singer is the most categorically incorrect thing I've ever heard.

Ever.

That, and that this band is 'original.'

I'm going to have a review for The Sound Of Animals Fighting - Lover, The Lord Has Left Us... before the end of the month...should be interesting to see what comes up in that discussion if any.

I liked this album somewhat, at one time, and i stopped listening to it for a while. i just listened to it the other day, and it's a disaster. i think i must have been smoking something pretty heavy to actually like them at one time.

I disagree.

I love this album...It's so different from the post-hardcore seen I've grown to know at this day and age, that I've grown a whole other understanding of it's scene.

I feel bad for this girl I know with the last name of "Chiodo." One letter away from complete garbage.

How can you even say that like its true? This review is complete bullshit anyone with half a brain could tell you that. Craig Owens does not sing poorly, on the flipside his vocals are quite incredible and I think if you people were to hear the album then you would change your minds. I think it's totally stupid not to listen to a band just because some idiot wrote a chicken shit review on them. Especially when there are many people telling you just the opposite of what this reviewer said. Think about it.

hahahhaahahahah I like how someone with the username craigislove expects us to take him seriously.

Craig Owens, as a singer, technically sucks. His range is weak, and when he tries to use it, his voice cracks left and right. For God's sake, he can't even hold a note for more than a few seconds at a time. He can't even try and pass this off as talent either, especially when someone like Daryl Palumbo has shown that he can have a massive range and never sound the least bit awkward. That, and he sounds like a pre-pubescent version of Thomas Erak's little sister.

Shut up, really. Its his opinion, he can say whatever the fuck he wants. Stop getting all pissy just because someone doesnt agree with you.
