I really tried to get into it, but the more I listened to it the more frustrated I got. I do not think it resonated well with me.

Whos Glenn. Whats Glenn for 'em? Why this track name. Why postrock. Why music? They could have just gotten a job in a bank or sealing fish and chips like normal people, why disturbing me with this music?

starting to really love this little ting, as 2 song EPs go this one is emphatically considered ‘essential’ by yours truly
justice for park / 5 year bumps!

wish there were more songs on this, they really struck gold with these 2

Get me to the universe where Slint did find that female vocalist and they released 5 more albums

was that an actual plan / reason for their demise, or are you just playing hypothetical (time-travelling) wish-casting?
a band this legit definitely needed to make more music. Tweez and this are arguably still(?) under-appreciated, but their runtimes are modest (especially here). As perfect as Spiderland is in its current form, I do like throwing this on after as a nice little coda / bonus. Even if the timeline would theoretically make more sense to do this with Tweez instead, it works nicely

These two songs are awesome, was not aware of them before. I agree, they suit much better as bonus tracks to spiderland, they are much more polished than the rumblings of tweez.

Yeah. (Almost) immediate rating bump deployed, it was needed
I guess although not actually Slint, we did also get The For Carnation which is rather brilliant in its own right

There's an advert for a female vocalist on the back of Spiderland and an address to send demo tapes. Don't think it had anything to do with them breaking up though
