Dragonforce fans make me laugh. when i saw them live the band stopped to let the crowd sing the chorus that they had been "singing along to" the whole time, but when DF stopped the crowd pulled the, "I dont really know the words but we'll try and sing them anyways" game and lost horribly. I dont know what song they were doing but they stopped right in the middle of it and just started a new one...or maybe they just started the same one over who knows.

i'm not saying these guys are a good band, because from what I've heard they're very samey and boring, but they're just out to have fun and have a good time. please judge by the music.

DragonForce is not a disgrace to metal, they play the music because they think it's cool, not because they're out to make money, so they have a totally valid reason to exist.
Limp Bizkit is a disgrace to metal.
Also lol i don't hate on bands I just say "this album is shit" because I don't like it for reasons X and because the music in played in way Y which doesn't fit my style or is boring or whatever

The high fantasy end of power metal is exceptionally cheesy. But there are a lot of bands that either tone down or omit the cheese factor. Kamelot, Sabaton, Savatage (late career especially), Angra, Norther, Nightwish...

I see this getting worse before it gets better. Around here, you can only speak for yourself, never anybody else. For example, when I say that I would rather set my pubic hair on fire than listen to Trivium, that's cool.
