Street Spirit is one of the best songs ever.

some songs drag down the album's pace way too much, but still a keen album. I used to like this more than OK Computer, but OKC doesn't tire for me as much.

I don't think Fake Plastic Trees is the second-best song. My Iron Lung and Just are probably better, though it's great.
But Street Spirit.... Best Radiohead song ever, and a strong candidate to best song ever.

I finally got this album today.
I felt that I wouldn't enjoy it as much as OK Computer or Kid A, mostly because of the fact that I'm not really into indie lad rock. I was right. It has its ups and downs. Unlike other Radiohead albums, I don't feel like every single song is sheer genius when I listen to it. I have to let it grow on me. Some albums like Ghost Reveries or The Downward Spiral jump at me instantly, but it looks like this will take a while. And if it doesn't float my boat, then it's no big deal. It's not fair for me to expect all of Radiohead's work to make me want to come. They're only human, and I guess they needed a while to find their true niche. This Message Edited On 12.25.05

"Heavy delay and chorus on the guitar, plenty of symbol hits"
it's spelled "cymbal", not "symbol".
