Gore is a very good album. It’s just that expectations are always sky high for Deftones. They didn’t quite hit those expectations with Gore so a lot of people were disappointed, therefore the album got more unfairly lambasted than it should have.

As much as I love this album, I have to agree. I really haven’t listened to this since it’s first month of release. For some reason it lacks replay value. That said, I am confident it’s one of those albums I’ll pull out in a year or two and become completely immersed in it.
