"Fans of older hip hop will find The Game’s discography is far better than Kendricks."

lmao the game.

It could be argued that maybe Outkast's run was as good as Kendrick's but that's it.

You aren’t old enough to get it. You can ask any legendary rapper and they’ll say Game is a legend.

But on this site that knows about 10 total hip hop albums - not so much.

Seriously cracks me up how opinionated and condescending everyone is on this site about hip hop while you openly admit you don’t know anything but the most notorious albums... now I remember why I left

Lol when the quarantine is over I’m out.

You’ll have to find me saying that “nobody can have a different taste than me” bc I didn’t ever say that.

"You aren’t old enough to get it" So somehow I'm not old enough to get The Game yet I enjoy hip hop much older than that. Something doesn't add up here. Are you drunk?

Shotting weed on the block down in southern cali, running from the Five-O and seeing brothers laying bleeding and dying in the street just to make ends meet makes me relate. Best musical genre of all time.

If you can relate to Sam Cooke and Roberta Flack, you can relate to this also.

The only old school stuff that you’re even aware of is the most generic stuff imaginable.

Please do explain why Kendrick is so much better at rapping than the game. This will be fun.

He can read out of a thesaurus in an attempt to make dim lyrics seem profound, yeah.

You ever notice how there’s no quotable lyrics on this entire album?

I’d rather listen to the game than any of kendrick’s other stuff to be fair to this lamb guy. it’s apples and oranges tho

Musically though this is an amazing synthesis of jazz harmony and hip hop/pop sensibilities. Sure it had an unlimited budget, but he spent the money well and it’s probably the most interesting mainstream album harmonically that I heard in the last decade, maybe two. Whoever engineered and mixed thing is also a genius because the sounds captured and the balance of the mix are flawless

Lol I had a huuuuge hip hop phase like 10 years ago. I listened to pretty much everything under the sun when it comes to 80s and 90s hip hop. You sound like an arrogant prick by the way. Remind me again how old I am because it seems I forgot.
