Bumped this up after another listen and since it's super solid. I guess this whole post-y stuff becomes background noise very easily for me and that's why it doesn't grip me as much. Alcest are more concise and that's why their stuff works better for me.

Gotta give Alcest a proper listen sometime. While it is true that this is music to "sink into", some of the crescendos and chord progressions are very enticing. Especially the climax of Dream House, the start of Sunbather and the crescendo(s)? in Vertigo
