It certainly had the mope down, but it was a bit too pop punk for my liking.

"I know, I was typing that for a while, I hadn't seen your comment. Pop punk is generally

catchy simply 4 chords upbeat dumbed down punk music."

"dumbed-down punk" music is very wrong. punk music is generally dumbed down as it is, and already has

3-4 chords as well. "watered-down" might be more applicable. the biggest difference is simply the

"pop" portion of the name, obviously.

Dumbed down, watered down. It's all basically the same. I don't mean it in a negative way. I like all of the bands I mentioned. I guess the ones I mentioned aren't really even watered down for the most part. But I getcha. I was just trying to make It understandable.

"well not always. there are a lot of pop punk bands that mix indie and emo elements. there are also a lot of pop punk bands who sing about serious and usually depressing subject matter that can either be self-defeating or inspirational depending on how you take it. pop punk really isn't as pigeonholed as people try to make it because you have a lot of different styles of it from different musical eras. "

Anyone else think that Handcuffs expresses the chilling truth about human nature in a nutshell? Like what if there was no consequences. Lyrically the song is a masterpiece.

Rowan, what you hate about them. I could understand you thinking they're vulgar but they're supposed

to be. Think about it, if there were no consequences for anything, who knows what would happen. Just

my view of it.

And Archers is awesome.
