Best Deftones.

One of their best yah. Albums sounds fantastic.
I haven't really liked anything after this all that much.
Album is full of memories for me as well.

Best Deftones by a mile. The ending of Royal is one of the craziest fucking vocal performances ever

My favourite Deftones too.

Either this or Koi for me. Amazing they've been around for so long and they decide to hit their peak 20 years on.

This album annihilates white pony imo. Only songs I really love on white pony are change, korea, and knife party

For me their peak was White Pony (without Back to School lolol)

I think this is way more atmospheric, dark, catchy, and intense tbh. Nothing on white pony comes close to the insanity of royals, or melodious beauty of sextape and 976. I like white pony, it just feels less cohesive to me. A few definite throwaway songs like back to school

back to school is an extra track. Its not even on my White Pony copy. Its a commercial version of Pink Maggit. I "hate" that song.

Teenager, Elite, and Street Carp aren't all that either.

Could agree on Teenager, but is like a music box song (does not exactly count). I personally love Street Carp, but that's just me, like a DNA song lol. Elite, for what is worth, won the Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance in 2001.

Yeah and I never really understood why. It's not even the best "metal" song on the album imo, Korea is a much better track.
