At the end of the show Akerfeldt was like "And now...something from Blackwater Park!" and the crowd got all pumped up
and then he pulled out an acoustic guitar and was like, "Patterns in the Ivy...2!" and everyone just sort of got quiet and stood there awkwardly.
It was quiet and awkward.

if you're an opeth fan i don't think its possible to leave one of their shows pissed. i don't like heritage at all, and i saw them on all 3 US legs of their heritage support tour and i loved every show so much. one of the best live bands i've seen

haha, yeah. The four Opeth albums I know well are Blackwater, Ghost Reveries, Damnation, and Morningrise. Didn't get a single song from any of those albums, but seven of the songs had never been played before live so that's kind of cool.

mmm yes. The acoustic guitar on Sleeping Giant behind the leads is so damn juicy. This album is pretty damn good no doubt. Wish they had Brent sing more on the new album. Godly guitar player. Such a groove.
