If diva has 5’d it then you know it’s a bona fide greatest of all time.

This wouldn’t even be released today, it’d be too outrageous.

No one can love without the grace

Of some unseen and distant face

And you get beaten up by blacks

Who though they worked still got the sack

And when your soul tells you to hide

Your very right to die's denied

And in the battle on the streets

You fight computers and receipts

And when a man is trying to change

It only causes further pain

You realize that all along

Something in us going wrong

Sput needs to let this one resonate and sink.....once you succumb, every note seems perfect

People are too resistant to the themes thinking it won’t resonate because it’s ‘boomer shit’

This album is a testimony to ‘teen angst’ no matter what decade you were born in. Timeless.

Probably the most classic album I've never checked, I will though guys.

Dunno about people round here not getting it - 4.4. avg with 1200 approx. votes seems like getting it to me.

This certainly wasn’t an instantaneous ‘classic’ for me but I’ve always loved it/appreciated it and I’ve owned various copies since 1995. Only relatively recently stuck a 5 on it in fact.

I tell ya something though ‘Love Reign O’er Me’ has never failed to do the business.

I suppose it doesn’t help as well that it’s very cemented in British mod culture of the 60s which is why it always warms the heart to know it is dug by our bros over the pond cos they still ‘get it’ ✊🏼
