looped this all day and palo santo is the only reason ill probably never 5 this. otherwise pretty much a faultless album. really levels up leviathan onward and never wavers after that point

Leviathan, Transfiguration and Bodega Head are my faves, but the album works really well as a whole.

I've loved everything State Faults has done, but I dunno man this is just transcendental. I don't think I'll have any reservations placing this in my favorite albums of all time list.

This band hijacked this site apparently... Since I've got a 4.5 gun pointed to my head I'll have to give it a go.

I would’ve 5’d this first listen when I was 18, just don’t get down with the power tenor vocals as much as I used to

Ok, this is pretty good indeed. It's giving me peak Underoath vibes coupled with american folkish passages. dream pop/blackgaze atmospheric sections... So many things in here. Now that avg is looking a bit exaggerated rn but who knows...

The subtle nuances here are lost on fans of thinking man's metal, I'm afraid.

Also not getting the folk or blackgaze mentions at all but I love Frost so I can look past it.

Love how Nazar starts like an Icelandic black metal band riffing hard and smoothly evolves into a completely different thing.
Love you too Hawks. As a thinking man's metal fan I'm pondering on the response for you Pika...
