Seeing Tomb Mold live really drove home for me that they are basically Slamtbam. Which is fantastic for me.

Nah just finished jamming and its honestly even better than I remembered.

This is growing on me a little bit but there’s still a lot of songs that are just kinda meh. Seeing them and Tomb Mold play live shortly so maybe it’ll click even more after this.

Funny how the first time i jammed this the opener made me cringe and now the opener gives me chills. Art is crazy bro

did listening to the new BI make this better somehow? Hmm. This is how you prog without losing your core identity ladies and gentleman. Their development as a band is one to behold
"Cult of Shaad'oah" is a monumental landmark

Album rules harder than new BI, agreed, but both are superb.

This has mostly fluctuated between being very good and even better. When it first dropped I probably over-indulged tbh, which led to it losing a little lustre for a while

Very close between this, Idol and Anareta for me.

Seeing them play it live made this my favorite. It's such an awesome journey from start to finish, plus the production finally brings out the intensity of their sound in ways that the previous albums couldn't quite capture. I went back and listened to Ecdysis the other day, and it's wild how much better they got after that record. Anareta and Idol still rule, but this one is just too good
