This has been growing on me lately. Took a while for the love affair with ADTF to subdue enough to be honest with this.



Different beast but clearly further sustained excellence from the best band on the planet.

Vertikal is as close as they ever got, for me, but given how some people feel about it I'm willing to write that one off as a matter of preference. Still crushes, anyway.

yeah i really like vertikal too, this is probably my least favourite since the debut but i still enjoy it a lot. kind of disappointing after the behemoth that was a dawn to fear though

I dont think Dawn can ever be topped, but I do think the high expectations it set (err, re-set/maintained?) had an effect on how this one was received. Like, if this existed in a vacuum or was released by a band without such a solid back catalogue a lot more people would absolutely lose their minds over it
