see this band if you can guys, that was on a whole different level. legitimately still shaking and awe struck.

they should have a new song out soon (they said tonight, LIARS!) and it was phenomenal.

and ANOTHER new song that was beautiful and will be on the next iteration of The Idyll Opus, O Horizon

Keep this dude on retainer to write the songs 3/8 of the way through the musical where everything is working out, and the big thing that goes wrong hasn't gone wrong yet.

Bonus points for a slow swell that takes 3 minutes to pay off. Band can't miss.

^ what an incredible summary of the breathless earnestness (and dynamic contrast) that makes me love this band so much

though I must say Festival Ground came as a surprise where it does not gradually ramp up from 0 to 100, but goes from 0 to 100 instantly after about three words

LOVE the new song

Hope they make another album like June Songs as I much preferred that style up the Idyll Opus

as long as Idyll Opus 7-12 sounds like the first half, they can do whatever else they want in the meantime.

also, OBSESSED with Festival Grounds but god, it was even more magical live. i need that again.

New track is stunning

Judging by the album cover art i bet it will be like a June Songs vol.2 type but i for sure prefer The Idyll Opus over that EP

the June Songs feel like a very natural progression of their sound. I'm more attached to Idyll Opus but I find myself going back to a lot of the newer material as well

and yeah grayshadow I can't imagine anything topping this for AOTD, personally. State Faults' latest came respectably close
