Had to lower down my rating. First half is good, last half is painfully dull (except Obstacle).
Bed Head is incredible though, probably my favorite song of them beside Silence.

What? Telepath, Dinosaur and Way Back are all fantastic! It's the bookends that I can't really get into and that are the weakest here for me.

The gargantuan chasm between its peaks and troughs is rather inconvenient. One of the few occasions were I'd be happy to revisit choice cuts without putting myself through the entire thing.

I include Telepath in the first half of course, lovely song.

I've come around to this more and think it's a solid album, but it's hard to ignore how much better Black Mile is

"I've come around to this more and think it's a solid album, but it's hard to ignore how much better Black Mile is" [2]
It is unfortunate that Inaudible and The Internet are such clunky openers/closers respectively because that has a disproportionate impact on my enjoyment of the album as a whole, but there are still some gorgeous moments throughout. Black Mile was probably the best we'll ever get from this band and I have to accept they won't top it again.
Black Mile > Simple Math > Mean Everything > this > Virgin > Cope

First half of this hit me right away, but the 2nd half needed to grow on me a bit.

Don’t think these guys will ever top Black Mile, which isn’t meant to be a slight in the …slightest — that album is a goddamn masterpiece and truly their magnum opus.

edit: I have been informed it's a Chris Staples cover, it's super nice still
