Hahaha DDD!

Yesssss Pangea!!

Amazing that such a repetitive 20 minute song at the end of a 2 hour record is still over too soon.

yeah...and the final track works perfectly when you don't have time for the whole thing...I seriously doubt it, but its almost as if he is concerned about the lack of time on modern life XDXD

Haha, you know, I thought the exact same thing when I heard it just now! It is the album condensed into 20 minutes!

Still hypnotising.

One of the best records of the year so far, and we've only got three more months to go.

La Reve and Stimmen come to mind first, but every song is great -- and beyond that, they're easily discernible now based on the guitars now.

Exactly! This might seem like one big slab of monotony at first but I can tell them apart so easily now. They really have their own feel and identity. And unique touches (synth, strings, triumphant vibes, etc etc etc).

Listening again today, and it was the best decision ever.

This was my first Paysage, but I'd like to hear some of his others. Which one(s) should I go for first?

Winterkalte and Das Tor are peak PdH imho. perfect blend of icy tremz and cold atmosphere. Kristall und Isa is up there too.

Steineiche and Schattengang are unrelenting and pulverize your face then throw your lifeless body out of the airlock

the s/t is raw aggression that doesn't linger in the frozen wastes too much

Einsamkeit and Die Festung are ambient/dungeon synth (Kraft off the latter is honestly one of my favorite songs he's done)

Nacht is sick as fuck

Kerker is................ leave Kerker for last unless u wanna go mad

I could be wrong about the s/t. I haven't listened to it in a while and, going thru Welt aus Eis, I forgot about where the song goes after the 8 minute mark. honestly a masterpiece

Wow thanks for the roadmap through his Winter Wonderland! I think I'll go Winterkälte next, that average is glorious.

I see absolutely nothing wrong with Winterkalte. the riff in Eintritt in die Spharen is the sickest shit I've ever heard
