limp bizkit were a talented band with shit vocals/lyrics [2]
They had a dope, powerful sound. Could've been a legitimately good band with a different singer and creative direction. Can't lie though, I'll still rip some Bizkit on occasion if it comes on.

Did we really need Pots 'dissecting' this? Most predictable rant 1/5 ever.
'limp bizkit were a talented band with shit vocals/lyrics'
Limp Bizkit were vaguely acceptable for a trash-tier band, with a human dildo for a front-man.

'Dude, piss off back to your noise metal. Let the rest of us listen to music with audible words'
Is this aimed at me? No idea. Nice username, maybe it'll be 'your year'... like it was last year, or the year before that etc.

"They got a lot attention with that in the 80s."
I can't tell if this was a joke or not, this band definitely did not exist in the 80s

metal died in '92, then again in '01, and still lives corporately through clownknot.com and friends until Slayer actually calls it quits
after that metal dies again but with a digital kickflip this time

"Does anyone feel like slipknot is carrying the metal flag? They're the only ones putting in the work to stay big with promotion, massive tours and of course great music to back it up, bands like Metallica are living on their 80s work but respect them for still doing it live, metal should not be allowed to die. Disappointed that parkway drive didn't build upon IRE to become a bigger global band, reverence was pretty bad as was disturbed latest work"
idk man, a big promotion, massive tours, etc.. is only one shade of metal. the underground scene is really thriving right now thanks to the crazy diversity being offered right now. obviously the metal heyday as far as commercial popularity is over, so it's nice to see a band like slipknot (metallica, etc...) still doing well and being able to perform on a more massive scale, but i don't think that means any of the scene's smaller acts wave the flag any less!

Fred Durst is an awful vocalist we can all agree on that, it's too bad because their music can be kinda fun
Eh, no he is not. Maybe he sucks at writing lyrics but as a vocalist he is a 7. FIGHT ME
|

He's one of the best frontmen you can ask for tbh. The guy even brings fans on stage to perform songs with the band on a regular basis, can't ask for better than that.
