i think painkiller is overrated for sure. halford's voice is strange, drumming is relying too much on double bass and many of the songs sound alike

Yeah, but I really think there are albums that are certainly easier to get into (if they're good or not, that's a different topic). And Painkiller's "peculiar" sound make of it a tougher pill to digest than, let's say, Sad Wings

I want to get back to the "I wish Bruce would have sung this album" thing, This album would not have been made with Bruce, It would have been much different, Personally I love the 2 Di'Anno albums, they are almost a different band with him, A little harder with a punk edge, Bruce albums are alittle more prog metal, accept Number which was primarily written before they aquired Bruce, so it had the Di'Anno vibe, both are great, wouldn't want to change anything
