Bumped to a 4. This gets better with each listen and I still feel like there is room for this to keep growing on me.

Looks like the boyz (or at least one boy) are already hard at work on the next album. The drummer is consistently posting instagram videos with "ideas for new Night Verses" captions. I think the guitarist has too

Can’t get over how good the production and the guitar tones are

In retrospect I find this to be an enjoyable album but not nearly as engrossing as their previous releases or other instrumental bands.

This album is awesome, but some parts seem to be recycled in several tracks. Also, I wish they would repeat some of the samples less often (What do you think will happen to you when you die...). Without these issues, I would bump this to 5.

"Also, I wish they would repeat some of the samples less often (What do you think will happen to you when you die...)" - i especially liked that.
however, normally I find instrumental albums rather fast boring - not with this thing. so much things to listen to - can't get enough of Aric Improta.

Agreed. Gotta admit that at first I thought it was profoundly annoying when I listened to Night Verses' debut. But given some time and it was the major part which made it exciting for so long. I am no drummer, but how the hell does he remember all that shit when playing live?

Having had time to revisit and reflect on it, this is definitely my 2018 album of the year. The Forgotten Wilderness by Panopticon, Daughters' return album, and a few others were all excellent, but this just does it for me. The only album from 2018 I 5'd

Yup, right up there with AAL’s “The Joy Of Motion” for me.
