I feel like in a years time the band will either renounce this record and go back to their old sound or just end up breaking up again.

What if the lyrics are actually WHAT JEWS BELIEVE WHAT JEWS BELIEVE and he was actually pro Christian this entire time

I feel like most longtime fans view this as a disappointment, but they might gain enough new fans to balance it out and not care
idk what the overall reception is

That's actually a pretty apt description bloc. Hopefully this radio rock route doesn't continue b/c it's pretty shit.

How does this website's trending section even work? This has 40 pages and 155 ratings and it's been out for one day.

Rapture and On My Teeth are better than half the songs on this. Rapture and On My Teeth are actually pretty good. the pacing the lyrics and order and feels of the overall album and the quality of certain songs is straight up abysmal lol but still fun. a solid Underoath 1 out of 5

agreed but i rate on a base of the band not a base of all bands because that's not fair to any band in my opinion, especially when they've been around so long. If I compared it to all music I could rate it a 2 or a 2.5 or if I'm really digging 3 or 4 songs then maybe a 3, but I can't rate an album as good because it has some great songs. Rating an album for me is the overall album, typically, but it goes on a band to band basis for me.

Doesn't there have to be a minimum rating for it to be trending? I've always noticed the records with around a 3.5 minimum avg trend while others that maybe have more buzz but are more polarizing don't.
