I just laugh when someone uses my ratings to spite me. Firstly, music taste is subjective. Secondly, watching internet tough guys argue over music is hilarious.

Time. I actually listened to Somewhere In Between before this so I still need some more summer for me to be able to listen to this properly. I listened to this a bit more selectively last year.

fair enough. I've had a connection to this album since freshman year of high school so i pretty much know it front-to-back. I honestly think of it more as a winter album, though that might just be because that's when I first heard it

Yeah, the association our brain makes can be quite strong. That's why Burial's Kindred is my nightwalk music because I accidentally put it on by shuffle and then I just kind of went with it for the next 2 hours.

And I'm the kinda "metereosensetive" to the extent that it also influences my "base mood" and therefore seasonal changes in music taste as well.
