JR sounds aight these days but he definitely got the Chino Moreno thing where the vocal style that made him unique just wasn't really sustainable over more than a decade or so. Dude's gotta be well into his 40s by now, I totally get that he can't scream like he used to.
I have less lenience for Scott Hull getting more and more into lame nothingchug metalcore riffs but that's a conversation for another day
