"He doesn't need a job after the sales of this album lol he'll probably get bored and drop another Brand New album in 10 years" though unfortunately they've become somewhat 'mainstreamish', i would not count for haute vie

myself, though i do love this album, probably will not listen to it for months, not to experience the same fade of interest and excitement as with tdagarim and deja

In The Water is my favorite. It's like they took the style of Daisy but managed to make it signify harder and more properly (not a Daisy diss, I just found the songs on that album a bit lackluster and sparse compared to here)

In the Water and 451 demo give me the most Daisy vibes here (and, not coincidentally, they are two of my faves)

i insta-5'd this initially almost entirely on the fact that it sounded nothing like mene or i am a nightmare, but honestly after listening to it a solid 10+ times it just doesn't have the staying power that TDAG or even daisy and deja entendu do. i can't see myself revisiting this constantly the way i do with those albums.

still good tho

Agreed, I'm thinking it might get bumped backed up to a 4.0 for me at some point though.

They sounded like farts when I saw them live 2 nights ago, so that kind of sucked. They played most of SF which was cool actually, but yeah, sounded like shit. Which is odd cause I've seen them 2 other times and they sounded amazing.
