"i dont like dm in general tbh and this band just sounds like really watered down dm for people who jam shit like alcest to me "

yeah they are so not this or watered down in the slightest. alcest sucks but comparing this band to them is offensive to me. but to each his own

i just mean they got that minor kind of 'post' element going on which makes it sounds kind of watered down to me, especially in the production department

I dunno, i like both, i'd go see any of the two live, it must be really fun. Not really into both of their most recent releases, although I agree that this > TR

"i cant comprehend this."

what is not to comprehend they revel in clean mainstream metal production and feel most in their comfort zone being slow and melancholy

the post element thing is completely exaggerated imo

its technical death metal. at times they lean on layered atmospherics but its tech death. all of their albums have pretty different mixing/production/soundcraft in my view, even though they haven't really progressed at all stylistically from album to album. its generally just 'ulcerate' with a little new twist every time

but they are just too good at it

i dont actually think vektor or this band suck ftr i just like to exaggerate and i can appreciate them to some degree for what they are, it just doesnt really float my boat

i mainly checked this and new vektor solely to remind myself if wanted to spend the money to go see them live and i decided "not really"
