Huh, this one doesn't have at least a 4.0 average yet. Weird.

I imagine it's been slowly creeping up since 2009. More and more people seem to be appreciating this over time.
Wouldn't be surprised if it initially sat around 3.5 here lol

3.9 is a pretty high average, but compare it to TDAG's average and its retardedly low.

Does seem like more and more people are saying this is their fav

I’ve been listening to this recently and quite like it, but individual songs haven’t really grabbed me like they did on TDAG.

I think this is their best album.

It's their second best for me. Used to think this was their worst. I'd slap the 2009 me for thinking that, and maybe will slap 2019 me someday for not thinking this is their best. Gets better with age.

Agree that this should me more respected than it is. The site avg's should be like:
TDAG - 4.5
Daisy - 4.2
Sci Fi - 4.2
Deja - 3.9
YFW - 3.7

Deja’s average is stupid fucking high
It’s got some good tracks but the band would go on to be so much better

I think YFW is very underappreciated. When you think about all the shitty pop-punk that came out in the early 2000's, that record was leagues above Brand New's peers with few exceptions. The music is basic, but the lyrics are witty and the hooks are massive, which is really all you can ask of that type of music. As soon as it came out I knew they had the potential to be so much more (mainly because of The No Seatbelt Song and Soco Amaretto Lime, which showcased their slower, more somber gears). Anyway, YFW is at minimum a solid pop-punk album and to people like me it means a whole lot more.

The No Seatbelt Song is the only thing I really get out of that album. Oh, and Jude Law is a banger, probably one of my favorite pop punk tunes

the whole album is pretty damn good with only a few exceptions
the style of music limits its ceiling but it basically masters pop-punk in one album
