TKOL is really subtle, Talons give it an extra close listen and you'll hear background things in it that go over your head if you're not paying attention.

Like I justice noticed this weird part of Feral today that I never noticed before.

That's exactly why I find so much more depth to the Live from the Basement version, the improved production and use of live instruments still in a studio setting brings out all the subtleties in the songwriting that the studio version buries in how it sounds.

I kind of like the subtleties, it gives it more staying power.

In certain moods I do like to jam the studio version, the only real flaw of the LFTB version is that it does lose some of that murky, forestial atmosphere that the studio version presents so strongly.

I added Supercollider, The Butcher, and These Are My Twisted Words to my LFTB version (which adds Staircase and The Daily Mail as well) in an awesome tracklisting for what the album honestly should have been. In that way, it's almost as good as IR and easily on par with this imo

Okay....One last comment, the album art. Did anyone realize what it is? It is a pathology slide of a malignant cancerous cell. Take it how you want to take it.

I'd find it highly unlikely that the entire band Radiohead has cancer

About the artwork, Stanely said that it "was made by the strong warm winds of southern France.” Don't know what that implies though.
