For real, I mean the band can do whatever they want but tbh why wouldn't you want to put out the last recordings that Chi played on. As it stands, the last official release he was on is SNW,which is probably my favorite but it also was a super shitty time in all of the band member's lives. Eros was supposed to be the "hey we're back and stronger than ever" release and would be a great way to honor Chi.

I'm sure some people will disagree but I think Chi had a bigger impact on the writing than people give him credit for.

His backing vox in the dual bass fury that is Needles and Pens is amazing, and the bass lines in Konami Code and Cherry Waves are some of my favorite moments in their whole discography. Not to mention there is even Eros studio footage where Chi is playing guitar.

haha theyre not great by any means but i guess I'm biased towards Pendulum because I used to be big into them about 8 years ago and they' re from my hometown (one of the only well known acts to come out of here other then Make Them Suffer who frankly annoy the shit out of me).

Fair enough. Its funny whenever I really pick apart Deftone's music I actually struggle to see what has kept me listening to them for years now and what has made them such a critically acclaimed band, but there's something about them that makes them unique and makes them so satisfying to listen to, imo obviously.
