I always liked Kanye's lyrics tbh, they aren't really groundbreaking but neither are most band's. They do a good job of conveying what I think he set to try to convey and display his character even if he is an asshole.

You'd have to admit though Funeral he's dropped off a bit lyrically since...I dunno, Yeezus perhaps, but that album had a couple dud lines as well.

In the end, I love Kanye even if he's not at his best. Still doing a lot of great stuff.
