“The ending to the ender (just made that up) is one of my most favorite and treasured moments in music history. My music history - which is quite long and expansive if you didn’t know.”

I take that you’re referring to Garden Of Light? Cause that’s my favorite Isis song period. And likewise, a definitive “moment” in my music history also.

Garden of Light is my favorite so far too. It is the most Panopticon-esque song on here imo

Yeah, the end of Garden of Light is certainly Isis’s best moment and I struggle to think of anything that comes close.

Interestingly enough, during my first few listens of ITAOT I can't recall Garden of Light (the whole album in general) leaving an impression on me but one day on the commute home I was on the 3rd or 4th listen of the album when all of a sudden everything clicked for me and when that song came up I had an epiphany that it was their best song ever and I was completely wrong about the album.

It's very hard to name my 2nd favorite Isis album (Panopticon's the eternal fave of mine) but between this and Oceanic, personally this now barely beats out the latter for that distinction.

Yea Holy Tears is gripping all the way through. His use of the keyboards in that track is fantastic.

Ok Mongi this is is kinda starting to click with me.

I've noticed that Dulcinea's first few minutes are very similar to Gravity by APC. If you change the pacing of the vocal melodies a bit, you can pretty much sing along Dulcinea. I just did it this morning and it fits very good

Never really thought about that haha but awesome! Dulcinea is all about that second half though. Jesus that guitar tone and atmosphere is downright inspiring.

Mongi...have you listened to Sarin yet? Closest thing to Isis I've heard. Fulfills the gaping hole in my heart Isis left...

I have not! God I’ll take anything I can get cause it’s such a shame this band is gone. Just too much talent.
